The Outcome of Brown Vs Board of Education

The world famous case proceeding Brown versus Board of Education is very remarkable in bringing the fruits of justice to the black community in terms of getting the qualitative education like the white community. If you closely monitor the American history, you will certainly know that in 1951, a group of 13 families in black community in Kansas revolted against the school authority for activating the old fashioned and banned segregation law which was active in 1879.

Oliver J. Brown was the leader of this small community who protested against the school authority's drastic decision to separate the black community from the white community. These limited number of family members wanted to provide the best education to their children. However, the school authority had the ill intention to discard the rights and privileges of the black colored students. Therefore Brown took the drastic steps by moving court for filing the charges against the Board of Education. The historical proceeding is known as Brown versus Board of Education.

After examination and cross examination, the Supreme Court declared its final verdict in support of the view points of Brown who wanted to wipe out the racial segregation system from the educational department. The court frankly stated that school authority or any educational center can't practice the racial segregation and the color distinction in the case of providing education and training programs to the students. It doesn't matter whether the students come from the white community or the black.

However, you be surprised to know that in spite of the declaration of the court' order in supporting Brown's views, the white community was not fully eager to wipe out the segregation law. They practiced in private and they did injustice to the black community by blocking the education and other amenities which are essential for the development of the personal skill. If you look back you will know that the Arkansas governor tried to discard the black colors in taking the education at schools and colleges. He tried his best to driving the black colored students from the educational centers and institute.

Eventually, the situation became normal after Eisenhower, the then American President had decided to send the troops to Arkansas for controlling the situation. There is evidence which shows the brutality and inhuman attitude of the white community. In Alabama Governor George Wallace showed his ugly attitude by blocking the facility of channelizing education and training to the black community. He physically obstructed the students from entering into University of Alabama.

The possible unity of schools other educational institutions will strengthen the foundation of the equal right for the black community. The children coming from the African American families must get all the equal rights to improve their skill in being educated. They should have the same status like the white colored students. Finally the devastating form of racial segregation and color distinction will become extinct if both the white community and the black community feel free to accept each other in every sphere of life.
